To redefine the look and character of an object.

I captured the most popular form of the flower, without photographing it in the stereotypical way of stem to bud. To give each photo a striking background I used levels in Photoshop to intensify the colors and create the deepest black. The flowers were also published in Lawrence Tech’s 2009 Prism catalog.
