Taste the Difference
magazine ad design
Challenge
To create a full page magazine advertisement and slogan using an existing brand. The text from the slogan were the only words allowed on the page, forcing the image to speak for the brand and slogan.
Solution
I choose the brand Jelly Belly and came up with the slogan Taste the Difference. Out of all Jelly Belly’s flavors I choose to depict Birthday Cake Remix, Margarita, and Peanut Butter and Jelly. I photographed three different scenes using multiple visual elements to create a mental awareness of the flavors and what they represent.
